Arrow and Arden Nordic Walking Newsletter March 2018

February has been very cold and the last few days have been very snowy, too. Unfortunately, it meant that I had to cancel a couple of sessions, safety is paramount.
We have had an great start to 2018 with lots of new Nordic walkers completing their technique courses, more people signing up to attend taster sessions in Evesham, Alcester and Stratford upon Avon.
We have started our next Hill Training Course at the end of February. The next course will take place in a June. Before that watch out for our Speed Walking Sessions in South Warwickshire  that will take place after Easter, bookable now.

Cancellations: You all know that I like to Nordic walk in all weathers and don’t cancel easily.
But last week was very challenging. I made the decision to cancel several sessions, as I want everyone to be safe on the walk and getting to and from the walk, too. We all have our risk assessments in place but if a weather warning is in force, such as the blanket Amber warning we were experiencing; all that thrown out the window and no activity must be taken. I am sure you appreciate this. The weather has changed for the better and we are now up and running as usual.
Due to popular demand I am running a further refresher session on 15th March in Alcester, this will be the last Refresher for the next few month:
